Cookie Policy

This Policy defines the rules for creating, storing, and accessing information on the User's devices using Cookies in order to electronically provide services requested by the User. The rules for using cookies are based on the provisions of the Telecommunications Act of 16 July 2004 - as amended.

I. General information about cookies

  1. In order to provide services electronically, the Controller creates and stores temporary files and gains access to selected information on the User's devices.
  2. Cookies - mean binary data, most often small text files, saved and stored on the User's devices, which are used in programming languages for more efficient communication between the website and the user.
  3. Cookie files created on the user's devices may come both from the Controller's system (so-called first-party Cookies) and from external programs monitoring internet communication (so-called third-party Cookies, e.g., from Google services and others).
  4. The User has the option to restrict or disable cookie files access to their Device. If this option is used, the use of the Website will be possible, except for functions which by their nature require cookies.
  5. If, after reading this information, the user leaves the settings of the currently used terminal device (in particular the browser settings) allowing the use of cookies, then pursuant to Art. 173(2) [of the Telecommunications Act], the user consents to the use of cookies on the currently viewed page and subpages.

II. Purposes of using cookies

  1. Cookies and similar technologies are used on websites to ensure correct data transmission between connected computers. They have a very wide application, helping to adjust the content of the page settings on the recipient's computer, remembering the preferred appearance of the page, e.g., the set font size, ensuring that the user performs multi-step actions (e.g., adding an article, making a purchase in an online store). Cookies can also be used to match displayed advertisements to the interests of website visitors. It can be said that "cookie" technology is essential for the correct display of interactive pages.
  2. In addition to cookies sent from the website we connect to, cookies may also be sent from the servers of the sites they refer to, e.g., Google, YouTube, or social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and others.
  3. Broadly speaking, we can divide Cookies into two types of files:
    • session cookies: are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the end of a given browser session. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory. The session cookies mechanism does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device;
    • persistent cookies: are stored on the User's Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending a given browser session or turning off the Device does not delete them from the User's Device. The persistent cookies mechanism does not allow the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device.
  4. In normal circumstances, the cookies used are safe for the user. When used properly, it is impossible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to enter the Users' Devices. These files allow the identification of the software used by the User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain they come from, their storage time on the Device (which is limited), and an assigned value (key).
  5. Cookie files do not collect any personal data, including names and e-mail addresses.
  6. Every user can change the cookie settings in the browser they use, including completely disabling the ability to save them. If the user does not disable the ability to save cookies coming from various websites, it means in practice that they consent to their saving and storage on the computer.
  7. The User can delete Cookie files at any time using the available functions in the web browser they use.
  8. If you decide to reject all cookies, it will not be possible to use some content and services provided on our website.
  9. The User can delete Cookie files at any time using the available functions in the web browser they use.
  10. It should be noted that Cookie technology is used by hackers to infect computers and introduce malicious software. Cookie technology, which is intended to ensure correct communication with the site's server, is used improperly in this case. Protection against such an attack, as well as other forms of hacking attempts, should always be provided primarily by a good antivirus protection program.
  11. The CONTROLLER may use "cookies" on the website you visit for purposes including the following:
    • - website configuration,
    • - remembering settings selected by the User,
    • - remembering the history of visited pages on the website for content recommendation,
    • - remembering the contents of the User's cart,
    • - remembering the font size, website appearance, etc.,
    • - user authentication on the website and ensuring the user's session on the website,
    • - optimizing and increasing the efficiency of services provided on the website,
    • - adjusting the content of the Website's pages to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Website's pages. In particular, these files allow for the recognition of the basic parameters of the User's Device (e.g., monitor resolution) and properly display the web page, adapted to the monitor's parameters;
    • - providing advertising services – i.e., adjusting advertisements of third-party services and products presented through the Website;
    • - ensuring the security and reliability of the Website.
